We have have been fishing, but just posting on facebook with my phone because I Phone does not have google chrome and my computer has had a mind of it’s own lately. The fishing has been spotty at best lately, with not much success. Most of the fish have been big though. The Sea Note had a 405 on the spinning tackle. Great job everyone! We have weekends in June open still, this is the best month for anything swimming. George and I are looking forward to a great summer of catching.
This pic is an example of what we have had to deal with this winter! I know everyone has had a cold winter so far and we are looking forward to the fat ones and a great summer, with plenty of fish. We will start fishing full time in a couple weeks and the boat is ready to go! The neck is fixed and I have had a good stay at the farm with the wife and dogs. My father is doing great right now and hopefully he will keep it up. George has all the bluefin tackle ready and we are booking spring and summer trips every day. Join in on the fishin fun on the SEA BREEZE!
We are ready for 2014! The 2013 year is just about in the history books and George and I would like to thank all of the people that fished with us and supported us in any way. I have healed up good from my surgery and have had a nice stay on the farm, but it’s time to get back to fishing and we are waiting for the Bluefin to show up off Oregon Inlet! We are booking summer trips, so if you want your pick give us a call or e-mail and reserve your day now. We have a few Sunday’s open in March and a couple week days. We also have the first two weeks open in Feb. Our channel has been dredged out, so no worries about that for awhile!
Yep, anther blue one around 400 lbs.! We caught our tiles and then some tuna and added a 53lb. Wahoo in for a centerpiece.
How about that for a mixed grill!
The guys from CTC had another great 3 days of fishing! The first day we had our dolphin and a limit of tiilefish and for the second day the dolphin fishing was better and we had time to catch some yellowfin before the end of the day. When the third day came around, Matt came and Keith left. The dolphin were jumping in the fish box and then after the limit we went looking for tuna. The trophy Hunter called us to a bunch he found on top and we got a nice catch of yellowfin. Thanks for the help, the hole fleet got a pluck or two. Thanks Keith and Matt CUMBERLAND TRADING CO. ROCKS!
Today we waited until daylight, the inlet was a little messy and we wanted to see the deep water. The ocean was a little angry, but we found the gulfstream and the dolphin, big and small. looking forward to tomorrow!
We are back at the fishing center, ready to fish on Wed. The guys that fished on Sunday had great days and we are looking forward to having a big day on the tuna! We have a few days open for the rest of the month for the great action. The dredges are working every day to keep us going thru the inlet and hopefully the pipeline dredge will be here by the end of the month to open up a big hole to run thru.
