BLUE MARLIN & DOLPHIN
Lately we have been havin some great weather and great marlin fishing! The dolphin have hung around for the ,eat on the ice! Friday we set out and 5 min, later we had a white on and then we found our dolphin and put the meat in the box, A little lull in the action and we had a white to our teaser and he somehow got away, bummer, but a few minutes later a Blue Marlin came to a teaser and George hooked him and the fight was on! About 20 min. later we had him on the leader! We decided to move north to a better bite and we set back out and here comes a 400 pounder to the teaser! He missed the pitch bait and ate a 30lb white marlin rig. Not what we wanted, but after about an hour George got the leader and it was 2 Blue Marlin for the SEA BREEZE! What a day!
SEVEN WHITE MARLIN
Today we had our turn on the the white marlin! We caught a sinle out of two then a triple and then every pole and the teasers had bites and we hooked four and caught two! then we had one more single! This all was in an hour span! We also had dolphin to go with the marlin action. We are havin some fun now!
First Marlin
This young lady caught her first White Marlin today! The weather man delt us a curve ball this morning and laid a bunch of NE wind on us! Anyway we managed 2 out of 3 marlin some dolphin and the last bite of the day was a 60lb. yellowfin on 20lb. what a fight!
NEW REPORT
The dolphin fishing is great with big schools being found and being brought home on the ice1 We are seeing upwards of a half dozen marlin a day and did I mention beautiful weather!
BIG BLUE!
Yesterday we took awhile to get our dolphin and then we set out to maybe find a flat spot of tuna or a bill in the deep water. we were about 4000 ft. of water when a 400+ Blue Marlin found us and the fight was on. Here is a pic taken by our party.
BLUE MARLIN & DOLPHIN
Yesterday we had an eventful day on the SEA BREEZE! We decided on an offshore tack in the northeast to about 500 fathams to maybe find some float and in turn Dolphin. We did just that and caught a limit of nice class bailers around a bucket. The baits went back over and here he comes on the left teaser! My friend Jeff was rideing out with us and saw him first and started talking in some tounges! Anyhow George got the pitch bait to him and the fight was on! We had the leader in 20 min. What a Show!
