BETTER EVERY DAY!

Today the yellowfin action got better and the weather got worse. The ride out was slow, with a south swell on the bow giving us a little pogo stick action. We set out on the blue water change and caught a 35 pound yellowfin first thing, that helps! Anyhow we caught another one shortly after that and then the dolphin attacked us! Action! The rain and the wind hit us shortly there after and it got a little snooty to say the least, But we stayed to catch a few more yellowfin before they raised the white flag and we carried the meat home on the ice!

MEAT SLAM

Today we had our CTC guys along. We had a pretty day weather wise for a change, witch is always a good thing. The warm water is finally pushing in and up on our good fishing bottom, so we did have some yellowfin bites and dolphin and a wahoo thrown in to complete the meat slam. Fishing is picking up each day as the conditions get better. We are looking for things to cut loose anytime.

FISHING UPDATE

The guys got out yesterday with mixed reports of yellowfin, bluefin and Dolphin. Today the wind has kept us all to the dock again and it looks like thru Monday the winds will keep the SEA BREEZE tied to the dock. The weather hasn't been kind to us all winter and spring, but it will break before long and it will be nothing but bent poles and full fish boxes! We still have some weekend dates available, so call and get the day you want.

READY TO ROLL!!

Today we splashed the SEA BREEZE! The boat is at the Fishing center and ready to put the fish on the ice! The guys that fished yesterday caught yellowfin and dolphin. We are booked Friday and Saturday, but open Wed. and Thursday. The tuna are coming and the gaffer dolphin with them. The new shafts and tuned up propellers have made her smooth as silk, the fish will be chewing the stern out of her!

GETTING CLOSER!

Getting closer to slashing the SEA BREEZE! Every day we finish some more on the list and now we are just waiting for the machine shop to finish our shafts. Our propellers have been tuned up and we are just about ready to bring um home on the ice! Alot of guys are taking advantage of the nice weather to do their yearly boatyard work. I will be traveling to see my father Wed. night. He is doing much better after his stroke and hopefully he will be able to come home this summer. He is tough and a fighter, so he will make it. He is a good man and has supported me in everything that I have ever done. Anyhow, we are booking trips every day, so call and get the day you want while you can.

GETTING READY FOR THE SEASON!

Thursday we took the SEA BREEZE to Spencer's boatyard to give the girl a little tender loving care. We do this every spring before the big summer push. The props are taken off and sent to Wildcat propellers and given a tune up. This year we are putting in new propeller shafts too, they are 2 1/2 inch shafts, 14ft. long. We also touch up the paint where it needs it and fix anything that needs it. We like to keep our boat in tip top shape for our customers and for our piece of mind on bad weather days. George has given her a good waxing and we will be giving her a fresh coat of bottom paint. We hope to be all shined up and ready for next weekend and hopefully some yellowfin tuna fishing. We have some weekend dates still open, so give us a call and we will show you a great day in the gulfstream!

ACTION!

The last two days have been non-stop action! The topwater bites have been mind blowing! The fish have been jumping out of the water and landing on the baits, what a rush! Today we caught our 70 incher in five minutes and had one on for 2 hours that we broke off near the end of the fight. There were many fish caught today in the 4 to 500 pd range. What a great week we have had with Yuri and Sami of SALTYWATER TACKLE.

SAMI AND HIS BOYS

Well, the weather it was getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed! Boy oh boy the wind blew us homejust after noon today, but not until we had a 72 incher for the dock. Maybe the wind will lay out for us tomorrow.

BAD DAY TO BE BLUEFISH!

If you were a bluefish today you were running for your life! The bluefin were having their way with them. They would ball up and the big boys were picking them off. We would cast into the maylay and instant hookup! What a sight to see! We released a 82 and 83 inch fish today and hoping for more thursday.
