WHAT A GREAT DAY!
Today we had Sami and his crew from SALTYWATER TACKLE aboard and headed out to the gulfstream in search of Bluefin tuna. We ran down a little south to find a warm water change and hopefully find were they live! We broke up the home life all day! These guys can whup a 200lb tuna's butt with a spinning outfit! We had multible hookups with popping plugs and what a show! Can't wait to do it again!
SEA BREEZE REPORT
How about this weather! We are not seeing the snow that the rest of the state is seeing, but the wind is really giving us a hard way to go! The fishing has been good when the weather breaks, with alot of BIG striper and the bluefin have shown in good numbers, for some heavy duty pole bending! We are fishing this coming Tuesday for them with guys that just jig. These guys really put a wuppin on a 150lb. fish with a spinning reel. We are booking trips for spring and summer, call and get the day you want, the weekends are getting away.
PLENTY OF FISH!
Come get yourself some! The striper are chewin as well as the yellowfin tuna! Big striper in the 40 to 50 pd range and plenty of tuna! The weather has broke and the SEA BREEZE is ready to load the wagon!
STRIPER!
The Striper have moved down the beach! The boats yesterday caught them less than 20 miles away and there seemed to be plenty fish that wanted a ride to OI! We are taking trips starting Sat. Give us a call for some of this great action! Big boat HEATED comfort!
STRIPER AND TUNA
Boy I dislike cold weather, but the Striper like to head our way when the water north of us gets too cold for them. A couple boats had their limits yesterday up the beach a little ways and this cold north wind will bringum closer. The tuna are also chewing too! We have a trip on the 9th. with some guys that just jig. We took them last year for bluefin and they whipped up on the 125 pounders! This time we are looking for yellowfin. We are taking All day striper trips and tuna trips thru the winter.
cooling our heals!
The air is getting cooler and we are enjoying a little time to go hunting and working on things in the shop, Shining up the SEABREEZE, doining some things to her for you and us. Leaving tomorrow for Va. to play Santa at the nursing home my mother is in. This is a rewarding day, as I get to help some people put a little happiness in their life and I get to be with my mother also. The tuna are still wanten a ride home on the ice this week, not many fishing, but they are bringing home the meat! We are taking bookings for 2010. We would also give you a quote on a tournament also for 2010
COLD TUNA!
The temps are cold, but the tuna fishing is Red hot! A small fleet fished today and everyone had a good day. We also had a 55lb. Wahoo for a centerpiece. We are now taking 2010 bookings
HAPPINESS IS A FULL BOX!
Another day of great tuna fishing aboard the SEABREEZE! We started out in the morning with a little inlet surfing on our 58ft. surfboard, but we managed to navigate our way through and headed up to the northeast to a warm body of water that we felt the tuna would be in. We set out and caught a couple fish and then a scattered bite until noon and then the tuna began to show themselves and the party was on! FULL POLE BENDO! What a great time we had! I have some good photos also. We have days open for this fantastic fishing!
MORE TUNA SALAD!
We pased through Oregon inlet as dawn broke Friday morning and headed for the stream. The ride was a little bumpy because of left over southeast swell, but the reward was great when we arrived! A single tuna and then we found them with the birds on them and 7 poled bent over and we caught 6. A good haul! We picked along until 11am and decided we had enough fish and the wind had come from the north and was blowing hard for a long bumpy ride home! Thank the lord for a big comfortable boat! We got back to OIFC with Ms Virginia,Dave,Matt, Ronnie, and Javier with another great fishing day on the SEABREEZE!
TUNA! TUNA! & MORE TUNA!
First of all, WHAT A BLOW! We had a rough week of Northeaster, but the seas calmed enough for three of us to get out of the inlet Monday and head for the stream. We didn't know if the fish hung out or moved on, but the pretty water was in the right place and we found the meat after about an hour of looking around. First we caught a couple and then 8 bites and catch 6 and then and then the party was on to finish our limit and bringum home on the ice! Thanks Joe and your crew! What a fun day!
