WEEKEND REPORT

What a great weekend of fishing on the SEABREEZE! Saturday we had beautiful weather for a change and the fishing was just as pretty. Plenty of tuna for our PA charter. On Sunday we had three young men and their fathers that were eager to catch some tuna. The tuna found us soon after setting out and we had meat in the box! We had a single bite and it came up jumping! Hooked up BLUE MARLIN! The fish really put on a show, jumping at the boat and by the stern know more than fifty feet! He went down on us and after about an hour we got the fish back up and released him, about 250lbs. What a thrill for our group! After that we caught more tuna and 4 nice Wahoo. One of which was a 45 pounder! A great day on the SEABREEZE!

RIP FREDDIE BOY

This has nothing to do with fishing, but Sunday I lost my Friend of nearly 17 years. He was my Lab that I had the pleasure of having since he was 5 weeks old. I have so many fond memories that I will keep forever. They are unlike people, they love you no matter what, even if you had a bad day of fishing.

FRIDAY PIC'S

BIG EYE!

Another great day of fishing aboard the SEA BREEZE! We set out with the water conditions that had changed around from the day before. There was warm water inside and cooler water to the east, anyhow the fish didn't mind. We first caught a couple yellowfin, then we had a big bit on my short shotgun pole and after about a 20 min. fight we pulled a bigeye over the side. The fish ended up weighing 120pd. There were plenty dolphin on a little grass edge, so we caught our limit of bailers to go along with our tuna catch. Great weather and fishing!

TUNA LIMIT

Everyone likes the limit word! The fishing today was steady, with never a dull moment! We put them on the ice and came home with the MEAT!

OH BOY!

The weather has to give us a break! We left the dock this morning at dayliight, so we could navigate the inlet safely. The seas were running an average of 8ft. but there wasn't any wind wave action. We set out and the tuna hit us and then there were drifter bites, but they were Wahoo. They cut off 4 baits, but we cuaght one 35 pounder. The rest of the day we would get a bite here and there and ended up with a great catch!

FRESH TUNA!

Monday morning we started out the day with a little n-east breese for our slow ride to the gulfstream. The ocean was plenty rough, but our crew was willing to brave the conditions for a chance at fresh tuna! After a 2 hour ride we finally set out and about 5 minutes later we had four nice tuna on ice. We trolled for awhile catching a couple more and then a six banger, thats always nice! After a few more fish our crew decided they had enough tuna and we made our way back to OIFC. A great Tuna day with Joe, Beatle and their crew. Great people, great fishing, what more can you ask for!

GOT TUNA!

Another day of great weather and fishing aboard the SEABREEZE! We left the inlet after slipping by the dredge boat about 5:30am We set out and the blackfin were on us like white on rice! This was good, but we were looking for the big meat. As if on cue, the Tuna started jumping all over about 10am They don't always bite, but we let our lines back about 400ft. and started to get bites. Anyhow we had a great time with first class people!
